Lime Essential Oil is cold-pressed from the peels of fresh limes. Lime Essential Oil is refreshing and invigorating both in aroma and taste. Limes are commonly used in entrées and beverages for their fresh citrus flavor.
Lime essential oil is commonly diffused due to its wonderful citrus scent. I love the aroma of lime, and often blend it with spearmint for an even more fresh and bright smell. The aroma of mint and lime reminds me of a period of time when living in the midwest. I had friends who were mint farmers, and when I would visit them, their home always smelled of mint and lime.
Lime Essential Oil can be added to your creams or lotions for a wonderfully refreshing smell and feel.
Lime Essential Oil emits a soothing and sharp, citrusy, sweet, and fruity aroma.
Blends Well With: clary sage, lavender, neroli, and ylang-ylang.
Inhalation Directions: Add a few drops to a cotton ball, soft tissue, diffuser or small pot of boiling water. Inhale gently.
Topical Directions: Do not apply directly to skin: Blend 1-4 drops with your favorite lotion or carrier oil, such as avocado, coconut, evening primrose, jojoba or sesame.
